it was one of the first that opened for business when we moved into the area 4 years ago.
at that time, only phase 1 and 2 of the nearby big estate was occupied, others still construction.
we had the honor to have witnessed creation / development of the whole area from nothing, to fully occupied high rise residential buildings.
in the mean time, more new shops and people.
this little cafe is quite connected to us. chef is willing to tailor made veggie foods for us, staff r nice, friendly, seating area is bright, airy, .. and very interestingly , the owner and a few staff live very close to us. we see their family members all the time, feeling like part of them though we seldom talk about private matters.
it was very surprised to see it close down so suddenly, when just the day before i have enjoyed a very peaceful yummy breakfast, on the long table at my favorite seat.
a few people were like taking stock count of furniture, hinting that some kind of renovation is ahead. yet all staff seem very normal. not a little sign on their face / behaviour about this sudden closure.
while there have been some other more short-lived shops closed, this one certainly represents the “deepest / longest creation” going back to the source
as with all other sudden changes, will take sometime to accommodate.
yet all beautiful memories we have had at that little place will certainly long lived.
thank you very much for your company and presence for 4 years, and all wonderful moments.
we wish the place and all staff a bright new beginning and more happy moments ahead.
