“sports”

a few activities i observed recently done by many, probably not very consciously, yet i would not recommend / support

fishing : heart breaking to see parents taking very small kids to fish at pier while there are many other choices of other activities. certainly inflict unnecessary pain to the fishes and baits, besides ego inflating / pleasing, seem not much benefits. if the purpose is mainly to quiet down the mind by spending time near the sea, simple sitting / even picnic is good enough. there is really no need for this very brutal “game”.

kicking a ball with feet / hitting a ball to a wall with racket

i have seen kid and adult doing this as if the ball is their enemy. consciously / subconsciously releasing this very negative energies to the ball / the surface that the ball rebounds. those people probably enjoy the loud noise it makes while the ball is hit / kicked and when it bounced back. yet to a sensitive observer, poor ball, receiving all anger. they have feelings too, only most cannot sense. again, may we all have greater consciousness so that we don’t inflict unnecessary pain on another life form + object . for they share the same One Consciousness as we r.

2 seated bike :

at first sight , seems rather creative. 1 bike, front and back seat. so the one sitting behind only ride / power, only the front rider steer.

most of the time it is a male who sit in front, be in dad + daughter / a couple.

i am always against this as the one at the back will never learn how to ride and always dependent. kind of give up power / freedom that biking offers. and seem very unfair as the back sit rider only contribute power but has no say where to go. strongly not recommended unless by a very conscious choice. (sure there r people who r very willingly take up that position)

there r really many physical activities we can do to enhance our overall health without harming / limiting others / creating too much nuisances…

yoga, dance, jog, swim, tai chi….

personally also not support competitive sports.

in the new world, everyone is healthy, loving, .. there is no need to prove who is better. each has his / her own talents . no need to compare.

the new standard of “success” is how happily we live each moment.

it is this ability to live joyfully regardless of externals that is most needed esp. during turbulent times.

may we all master that asap.
