with most human staying at home, all kinds of animals finally enjoy more space and greater freedom.
sea turtles returned, deers played happily at beach, sea lions get to the ground, peacocks, elephants, goat, and other kinds of rarely seen wild lives strolled on streets, bears fighting on roads, geese wandering at airport….
even penguins / ducks kept in aquariums can enjoy a walk outside their normal home to meet other animals under the same roof.
with much less business activities, waters at Venice much clearer, pollution down at many cities, the Himalayas can been seen 200km away… mother earth has finally regained some balance and happy at least for a while…
even among human, there seem to be a greater sense of fairness / equality.
regardless of rich / poor, education, social status, … everyone is subject to the risks of infected by virus. and with limited supply of some grocery items e.g. tissue paper / masks.. each person can only buy the same no. ..
may this challenge teach us all to be more humble, loving, caring so that we co-exist in harmony with fellow human, other live forms and nature and to always remember that we r only 1 of the many many species on mother earth.
the word will certainly be a much better place when more of us drop our big egos.
