silver lining

it was such a big fire in Australia that got the world’s attention. big areas of forests burnt down, along with many animals. so serious that koalas might now become endangered species again, and smoke flowing to other countries.

certainly not pleasant

yet there r also heart warming moments when people even risk their own lives to save injured animals / open up their homes to provide intensive care / volunteers helping at animal hospitals / people feeding dehydrated koalas with water / donations pouring in worldwide / very good response for adoption program…

2 footage / photo that inspired me a lot :

a koala curled up on the ground. alone. the whole nearby area burnt down

found by a volunteer . looked up . got rescued.

a kangaroo eating carrots dropped by helicopters, probably wondering where the foods come from when the forest is gone

imagine when we r in the same situation. hopeless. exhausted. don’t know what to do. … then help appear from no where.

this is the time when people unite to save those in need; give more attention to protecting endangered species / natural habitat ; re consider some ancient wisdom of the aborigines…

some rain has fallen lately. hope it will not be long before the fire completely extinguish.

and God bless phillipines as well where there was a very serious volcano eruption at Taal island lately that cover many areas in ash and shut down airport / schools… even far away.

may mother earth be healed, balanced, soothed of its pain…

akal akal akal to all those ascended

and a speedy recovery / regeneration for all those injured.

1st full moon 2020

4 am. the bright full moon was above the sea, making it a “silver lake”

on the other side of the sky, the big dipper clearly seen

a peaceful, tranquil, yet a bit mysterious sight

8 p.m. we were sitting outdoor at a restaurant at science park over looking the moon. a wonderful night, so quiet that cicadas can be heard . no wind. surprisingly not cold. no one else at the outdoor area. only the trees, the moon, some bikers passing by, and people jogging further away

had a discussion with daughter regarding some “philosophical issues” ! hahahaah

again, a big reminder of total acceptance of what is and dis identification with mental positions

earlier afternoon, alone time walking to seaside, enjoying talk of Ram Dass about conscious ageing, accompanied by a cool calm cat 🙂

the first 9 days of 2020 in fact was full of quite some sad news :

wildfire in australia keeps burning (luckily people r trying hard to save animals, and some koalas r recovering well);

a new virus from wuhan in the same group of sars was spreading quite fast locally and globally;

trump ordered a strike at baghdad airport killing a senior military commander of iran, ended in revenge attacks, soar in oil and gold price….god bless that situation seems quiet down a bit and both sides appear do not want a war;

locally, the campus of cu found safe after many tests of soil, water, air, yet a few cases of suspected new virus was found in 3 colleges, and many people were seen wearing masks..

other parts of the world, floods, earthquakes continued..

a lot might happen given the circumstances. the whole world might change over night just by a thought / decision, or simply by nature.

may we all remain centered. remembering that we r both the participant and the eternal observer.

that we remain highly conscious most of the time to accept what is, and to do whatever is possible go mitigate / create high vibrations

blessings be to all

4 a.m. on the last day of 2019. a good time to recap some wonderful moments before entering a new decade

certainly a very special Christmas week. full of sweet surprises, new connections…

star war – last episode. not particularly impressive yet still a movie with positive messages : that despite our inherent nature of a dark side, we still can choose to overcome it with conscious choice. even though / maybe esp. when we r deeply unconscious

morning jogging seaside science park. very sunny days. beautiful sea.. followed by outdoor brunch + warm sun 🙂

opened present from and with daughter on boxing day – a precious handmade wonderful notebook made in Nepal from NY. waaa!

attended / arranged unexpected gatherings very last minute . turned out excellent connections with people never met this life. long /natural / deep conversations..

pranic healing – 3+ hour blessings session to the world on Christmas day

chi lin – the family of our help from phillipines . lovely p.m, so blessed with much sunlight

christmas dinner and photos at club house – another spontaneous meet up turned out well. divine reconciliation. recording happy moments with lovely tree, snowmen, santa..

a dog to be healed. goodies shared with helpers in vicinity

the peak : great exercise going a big circle, impressive sunset and dusk to go with plain congee, pinapple bun

ferry ride to TST, greeted by big Christmas trees at Ocean Terminal, followed by good veggie foods at green common.. the tall lighted Moose outside cultural centre…

meanwhile 2 new shops opened at the mall near our home providing good options and much aliveness. long term no go eateries re visited..

time to rest.. continue all goodies in dreams…

a truly blessed dec., excellent prelude of 2020

Blessings be to all

the caged toucan

it was saddening to see the big toucan yesterday p.m.. bored. unmoved. “curled up”

i guess if it is given a choice, it would rather be free than to be well fed though it means it might be killed/ injured / hungered…

reminds me of another saying that ships r meant to be in the ocean, rather than at the shelter, though that would guarantee safety

same for human, just we might create an invisible cage for ourselves over time, consciously / unconsciously by living too comfortably / “secured”

yet life keeps challenging us, as to all forms.

we can choose to walk to / being dragged to paradise

to accept, even appreciate all challenges is the key. for this will help us live more fully, and certainly make us stronger and vibrant.

may all beings have the freedom to choose, and the wisdom to choose wisely.

Blessings be to all

Sunny winter holiday

it was certainly a super blessed trip. early dec. Hangzhou can be very cold. yet with almost 2 weeks consecutive sunlight and not much wind, it turned out to be a “fake winter”.

most amazingly many trees just started to turn yellow/ red. yet within a week / days leaves fell off / curled and dried up…

it was an unfolding of a short lived wonderful natural beauty. a big reminder of impermanence of all forms.

i brought along the newly bought waist bag just in case i might jog in the morning. turned out i went out over a week daily despite the cold. wearing gloves, hats… a big break through for someone who is used to very warm weather and does not have the habit of jogging.

it was lovely to greet the morning sun by the river while stretching to cool down, followed by a hot breakfast 🙂

did not plan esp. to visit anywhere, yet god has arranged for us challenging experience of “rock climbing ” and sweet surprises like night time light show by the river, buffet with the sun…

though towards the end of the trip i got infected by strong flu virus, it was a truly blessed return trip and efficient settling down. events / people that were thought to be challenging turned out very well.

and finally, after much hard work, can expect a quiet and relaxed winter solstice tomorrow.

more light will follow

Blessings be to all

signs of recovery

things do seem to suddenly flip after the election

govt.’s tone milder, po much more restrained, christmas decor finally appear in a major shopping mall at cbd, and customers seem to have returned.

i arrived at the tea house shortly before noon on a sunny weekday. even the staff do not expect many customers. yet it turned out to be rather full, locals, foreigners, business, leisure…

the park was filled with beautiful fishes, butterflies, dragonflies, flowers + office worker enjoying lunch outdoor.

there were also quite many people at the peak, mostly middle age / elderly walking the path around the summit. a truly blessed sunny p.m. of great exercise and yummy veggie foods at outdoor seating.

renovation of the mall finally finished after a long closure. visitors enjoyed wonderful views at the rooftop. new shops opened..

may this be the beginning of a Merry Christmas and much more happy moments to come

landslide victory

this is certainly a day to remember. recording breaking no. of voters and turn out rate for district council election. 2.94 M, 71.2%

there were minor disputes / even “false voters” seen but not significant enough to affect result. people’s voice simply too unify and overwheming

this noon, i enjoyed lunch with a few parents, kids.. .at the cosy restaurant with floor to glass ceiling over looking outside, the sky, cloud, with a platform of 6 tables, where customers need to take off shoes to enter…

it has always provide a home feeling, staff and customers not knowing each other, each relaxed, happy, kids going around freely, .. staff wearing slippers…

afterwards a walk to the seaside, to the pier that over looks tolo harbour, and the big buddha Kwun Yin . very glad to see still many pigeons, birds, lovely trees…

at least for now all seems peaceful.

at least govt. admit they need to reflect.

cu finally re-open after being devastated by tear gas / bullets..

there r much to be done, yet hope this is really a turning point, so all can co operate to rebuild, regardless of difference in mental positions.

hope all training in the past months have transformed most hkers into more loving, embracing, kind, wise, strong, faithful, resilient.. conscious being.

together we build a new earth.

the day before district council election 2019

it was a quiet peaceful sunny sat. on the surface.

10 days after outbreak of the fierce battle at cu i visited science park first time

things seem quite normal. still cyclists, customers at restaurants..

much less birds seen but was told by 2 staff that no bird bodies were found. hope they just gone elsewhere.

sun was shining on my back, sea still very beautiful…

though also signs of fights / cutting off of traffic…

for almost 6 months, this seem to be the first time that both govt. and protesters agreed to cease fire and vote. an election previously considered insignificant now becomes the only channel through which people can get back power and finally have a say.

fingers crossed that all will be smooth, peaceful, fair, …

that this will be the turning point to end all violence, disputes, .. the beginning of restoration of order, justice… after months of chaos…

meanwhile the world is watching if trump will sign/ veto the hk act. .. big impact either way..

and trade deal between china and us yet to be settled…

while plague seem rampant in the mainland, believed to be highly covered up…

yet pc by pc encouraging news emerged. seemingly unrelated but signs that the wheel is finally turning.

God Bless HK and the World!

Let’s keep creating miracles!

unforgettable Nov. 2019

something all hkers will never forget : fierce battles at universities.

all schools closed for days, thousands arrested, tg fired probably up to 10K by now.

traffic jam everywhere, as cross harbour tunnel closed for days, .. broken traffic lights not fixed, gates at train stations still malfunction…

it took our bus 20 mins. to get across a junction today … yet. .. despite the chaos, no horns were sound, all drivers moving slowly, carefully, ..there were no quarrel, nor accident/ clash, sure a miracle when big buses, private car, minibus, vans…..all trying to get to different directions without any traffic light. the roads ahead were clear, just all stuck at the junction

at train stations, half or less of the gates were working. people need to line up to get in. yet, still very much in order, no pushing , complaining, yelling… all moving slowly, patiently, quietly like cars!

in theme parks, there were still parents with kids apart from tourists. many shops closed, .. staff still nice and friendly

yes, sure our lives very much affected when so much is out of order / cut short / re-arranged; and certainly a sense of fear and unease with all horrible news and all uncertainties…

yet, over time, we all learn to adapt, to become very flexible, present, fully accepting what is and see what can be done. certainly evolving to become more aware, conscious being.

some people already suggested some very out of the box suggestions, e.g. rebuilding hk elsewhere; while others determined to stay to defend the place we love so much.

either way, or both, we persevere, hang on with faith, hope, strength.. allowing divine intelligence to flow through with ease, knowing deep down the utopia is not far

the whole world (probably much of the universe) is watching and helping.

we keep creating miracles, one after another…

that probably is the ultimate training 🙂

when things go unpredictable

we can either avoid or face the uncertainties

it was a sunny sat. early afternoon. malls and parks at cbd that were used to filled with people almost empty.

when roads can be blocked any time, cross harbour tunnel closed, public transport can be suspended any time, … many choose to stay near homes. even a short trip can be risky.

yet there r others who chose to enjoy lives as much as possible. at the peak where tourists dominate, there r still locals with small children playing and enjoying sunbath…

at the very empty hk park, birds, fishes, trees, flowers, art work…. waiting to be appreciated / visited, humans need to be cheered up, ..

words might not be needed. our alert presence already make a big difference.

another miraculous trip

i believe all those who r staying chose it subconsciously. for this is an excellent opportunity for transformation. we all “forced” to be highly alert, fully present, total acceptance of what is , yet remain flexible, calm, “relaxed”…

the biggest challenge / easiest way out probably not to fight / resist, but to remain calm, at ease, peaceful, even joyful / contended regardless of externals. that’s how we truly become free.

that is also the status when we become channels for divine intelligence to come through, thus co create miracles.

hkers r on the highway of spiritual advancement. may we all evolve fast so as to allow unfolding of the divine plan nice and well.
