it was a very last minute and brave decision to go peak sunday p.m.
surprisingly traffic very smooth. only a few people waiting for peak tram. by 6 p.m. we arrived.
many lined up to get down. the observation deck still crowded around 630, and restaurants very full.
yet interestingly all disappeared by the time our snack is ready.
quiet eating time at dusk, just after sunset. temp. just right. no rain. nor strong wind.
we visited another cafe before it closes for some hot tea. again, occupy the whole place with excellent night view enjoying some quiet time and good foods.
then, walking time. much less people on the path. by 8, we arrived the best viewing point to see the iconic victoria harbour view, right at the time when “light show” is on. only a couple nearby
took some lovely pictures before headed back. on the way started to rain.
before we leave we decided to try out the restaurant with not very friendly staff last time. still quite full at 9 .
this time, lucky enough to have a very nice lady who tailored most foods to vegetarian dishes for us.
music that daughter loves a lot.
turned out great pizza, pasta, salad. certainly exceed expectation.
its’ great to reconcile some not so good memories and replace with wonderful ones.
we never expect to take the last peak tram back. but did! 1st time.
it was more rainy and cooler when we left.
such a surprising and lovely 4 hours to remember.
looking forward to next time when we can enjoy more “dancing outdoor” and sunlight.
